Parade Competition Information

There are two competitions in the Lewis County Fair Parade (neither mandatory)

Our annual theme, "Saddle Up" and another for Fire Departments being judged by the Northern New York Volunteer Firemens Association.

Non-Judged Entry ($0.00)
There is no fee, this year, to participate in the parade if you are not being judged
Theme Judged Entry ($15.00)
This year's parade theme is "Saddle Up" and the cost to be judged in the competition is $15.
All judging will be done during the parade.
There will be two sets of unidentified judges throughout the parade route.
Fire Department Entry ($0.00)
This entry is for Fire Departments who are members of the Northern New York Volunteer Firemens Association

Parade Placement

Where you are struttin' your stuff is important.

We take into consideration many factors when determining the lineup of this parade. Space requests, types of equipment, participant demographics, emergency services needs and many other logistical considerations.

The parade streets are as follows:

Jackson (overflow on Railroad St)

Campbell

Stowe

River

Water

Elm* (Designated for horse entries that will be integrated into the parade lineup by a fair representative as the parade goes by)

Unless specified by the parade committee, you should not be lining up on personal property. (If a property owner is interested in assisting please have them contact the parade committee at [email protected])
